3. Provision to third parties

4. Provision to third parties abroad

Bytedance Pte. Ltd., which operates Pangle, is a company in Singapore. For its data protection practices, see the Pangle Privacy Policy.

5. How to stop the sending of information

  • Personalized ads (Android): choose "Don't allow" on the screen shown at first launch, before the ad SDK starts, to see non-personalized ads. The ad SDK does not start until you answer. Change it any time from "About this app" > "Ad settings". The choice is stored only on the device and excluded from Android backup and device transfer.
  • Tracking (iOS): choose "Ask App Not to Track" in the dialog shown after launch (the ad SDK does not start until you answer). The IDFA is then not used and non-personalized ads are shown. You can change this later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Personalized ads (iOS): choose "Don't allow" in "About this app" > "Ad settings" to turn off personalized ads even when tracking is allowed.
  • Advertising ID (Android): reset or delete it from Settings > Privacy > Ads (on some devices Settings > Google > Ads).
  • All sending: after you uninstall the app, nothing is sent.

6. Security measures

By not storing your information on servers, we minimize the risk of leaks. The only things stored on the device are the theme setting and the personalized-ads choice, and neither is sent anywhere. We use the official ad SDK from a trusted source and keep it updated, and we restrict access to the devices and accounts used to develop and operate the app.

7. Requests for disclosure, correction, deletion or suspension

Because we hold none of your information, there is in principle no data subject to disclosure, correction or deletion. For any request or question, please email the contact below; we will respond without delay in accordance with the law. For information obtained by Pangle, please contact Pangle via the Pangle Privacy Policy above. You can stop the use of your advertising identifier at any time as described in section 5.
